Fukuoka-based real estate developer Fukuoka Jisho has opened an office in Singapore. Two staff will be dispatched to run the office, which is tasked with collecting information on the region and building networks with local companies. Amid the shrinking domestic market, a company official said its “next challenge” would be in the growing markets of Southeast Asia. The company hopes to help attract foreign investment into Kyushu while looking for new opportunities outside of Japan.
