Fukuoka Jisho Renovates Hotel Room for Teleworking

A project to turn local hotels into teleworking offices began in Fukuoka. Fukuoka Jisho recently announced a collaboration with a local startup Tumug to open TiNK Desk in June. Five rooms inside The Residential Suit Fukuoka (Momochihama, Fukuoka) will be renovated into small office units equipped with a smartphone-based security system. The place also facilitates the rental of devices such as electrical appliances. Each unit can be rented by the hour. More renovations are scheduled for properties in the areas of Hirao, Takamiya, and Nishijin during the current fiscal year. Sources: Nikkei / Tsumug
