Fukuoka launches home testing for HIV and other infections

Fukuoka City began accepting applications on Oct. 1 for home testing kits covering HIV, syphilis and genital chlamydia. City residents can apply online to receive a kit, collect samples at home and return them by mail. Results can then be checked online. The tests are free, although users must pay postage. Applications remain open through Feb. 28, 2027, adding an option alongside the city’s existing anonymous testing services. Source: TNC News / Fukuoka City
