Fukuoka Mirai Incubation Program Started

The Fukuoka Mirai Incubation Program was established on April 6 by Fukuoka D.C., Mitsui Sumitomo Bank, and the Japan Research Institute with the cooperation of the Incubation & Innovation Initiative (Triple I). Triple I was set up last July through the efforts of leading Fukuoka companies including Mitsui Sumitomo Bank and the Japan Research Institute. The incubation program will provide support at Fukuoka Growth Next, located in the former Daimyo elementary school, through information sharing and development support. The program will also be working with local Kyushu universities and Fukuoka City to help promote Fukuoka as a National Strategic Special Zone for global startups.
