Fukuoka Police and Agencies Hold Anti-Terrorism Meeting for Major Sports Events

A meeting on anti-terrorism measures was held in Fukuoka City, attended by the Fukuoka Prefectural Police and related organizations. The focus was on upcoming major sports events in northern Kyushu, such as the Interscholastic Athletic Meet in summer and the Tour de Kyushu cycling race in autumn. The “Anti-Terrorism Partnership Promotion Meeting” was held at a police facility in Fukuoka’s Higashi Ward, with 44 entities participating, including police, government officials, transportation agencies, and accommodation facilities.
