Fukuoka Prefecture will conduct clinical trials for the drug development to fight COVID-19 as early as October 2021. The prefectural governor, Hiroshi Ogawa, told a press conference on Aug. 25 that the co-research project with Bonac Corporation has already narrowed down drug candidates.
