Fukuoka Prefectural Assembly Unanimously Criticizes Russian Invasion

The Fukuoka Prefectural assembly officially announced its objection against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. On Mar. 1, a proposal addressing Russia’s ongoing military actions as intolerable brutality should be immediately ceased passed by a majority vote. The assembly also requires the Japanese government to protect Japanese nationals in Ukraine and work with other countries to take strict measures against Russia. Source: Asahi / RKB
