Fukuoka Prefectural To Consider Extension of Corona Alert

Despite reports that more than 2.17 million people in Fukuoka Prefecture have completed their third dose of the new coronavirus vaccine, or 42% of the total population of the prefecture, the number of infected people is on the increase. And so the Governor is considering implementing an extension of the prefecture’s corona alert from April 8. In the prefecture, the percentage of newly infected persons in their 20s in the week to the 27th of last month increased from 15% to 19%. The prefectural government is calling for those who are eligible to be vaccinated to be vaccinated as soon as possible and to take basic measures to prevent the re-spread of infection, such as limiting the use of restaurants to two hours or less until the day after tomorrow.
