The new building for the Fukuoka Prefectural Art Museum is expected to be twice the size of double the current museum. The final proposal for the redevelopment of the prefectural museum was recently submitted, with plans including space for art creation, digital technology to allow for remote tours, and more. The new museum will open on the south side of Ohori Park in fiscal 2029. Source: NHK
