Fukuoka Prefecture Council Research Funds Can Still Be Used to Hire Relatives

A controversy has erupted over the funds provided to Fukuoka Prefecture Council delegates for issue-related research, as there are growing numbers of instances in which delegates pay family members not on contract for services. The council has formulated an amendment of the rules allowing those payments to continue if certain conditions are met.
