Fukuoka Prefecture Gov. Wataru Aso led a 12-member delegation of businesspeople to Taiwan on the 10th for a three-day visit. The primary objective was to get a first-hand look at the joint efforts taken by both parties in the Asia Small and Medium-Sized Business Exchange program. The program was begun last August with the government of Thailand, and 40 businesspeople from that country have since visited prefecture businesses.
