The Government of Japan has selected Fukuoka Prefecture, Kurume City and Munakata City to serve as host towns ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. The former two will host the Kenyan Team, while the latter will play host to Russia. Kenya has already decided that it will hold its pre-Olympic training camp in Kurume, and Munakata, which was already scheduled to host the Bulgarian team, is now registered to host athletes from two countries. This brings the number of countries to be hosted within the prefecture up to eight. Host towns receive incentives from the national government in the form of a 50% subsidy for any sports exchange events held with athletes from the partner countries. Source: http://www.fiba.jp/
