Fukuoka Prefecture Lifts Fukuoka Corona Warning

The warning was implemented on August 5 as part of the prefecture’s medical preparation strategy against the surge of new coronavirus infections. However, in the period between mid-September to October 8, the regional reported daily counts of below ten and hospital bed occupancy rates improved considerably. Updated criteria to issue the warning in the future were also announced, including 40 or more average daily infections in three consecutive days. Source: Nikkei / Fukuoka Prefecture
