Fukuoka Prefecture To Offer Accommodation Subsidies For Foreign Technical Interns

Fukuoka Prefecture announced it would subsidize local companies that bear their foreign-technical interns’ accommodation costs upon entering Japan. To back up the efforts of securing international human resources amidst various coronavirus-linked regulations and challenges, eligible companies can apply for a 75% (*up to ¥150,000) financial support to cover hotel fees during the first fourteen days of arrival in Japan of international trainees. Applications are accepted until Mar. 19, 2021. (Inquiry: 092-643-3590 *labor policy division) Source: NHK / Fukuoka Prefecture
