Fukuoka Prefecture’s Medical Facilities Running Low on Masks

Medical institutions in Fukuoka Prefecture are facing a shortage of surgical masks amidst the impact of COVID-19. The prefectural Medical Association disclosed on March 18 that over 10% of such institutions had run out of masks as of early March. Also, more than 20% might run out of them by the end of March. While the latest mask supplies from the national government have partially eased the situation, it will take some time to distribute masks to all institutions. Source: news24 2020-03-19
