A Nagoya-based confectionery maker held a unique cooking contest. As implied in its name, ‘okashi-na menu contest,’ the event called for meal recipes using okashi products such as green-bean snacks and candies. Among the ten nominees, the chef of Bistrot Robert et Louise in Chuo Ward won the first prize with an original chicken fricassée. Nominated dishes will be served at restaurants from Mar. 25.
