Fukuoka Shinkin Bank Offers Pet Insurance
The Fukuoka City-based Fukuoka Shinkin Bank has begun sales of the “Dobutsu Kenko Family” insurance offered by the Anicom Insurance Co. of Tokyo to cover the costs of pet illnesses or injuries. They become the second Kyushu financial institution to offer this type of insurance, and the first in Fukuoka Prefecture. The insurance covers five animals: dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, and ferrets.
