The Fukuoka Smart City Community was launched on Oct. 14. Fukuoka City and nine local companies have been tasked to seek solutions to situations such as recurring natural disasters and the spread of the new coronavirus. Member companies, including Line Fukuoka, JR Kyushu, Nishinippon Railroad, Fukuoka Bank, and Fukuoka International Airport, will hold monthly meetings where young employees share their challenges and work skills. The organization aims to become the fastest-problem-solving city in Japan. Source: Sankei / TNC / Nishitetsu
