Fukuoka Tower Plans Special Illumination to Bring in Reiwa

Fukuoka Tower will be wrapped in a special illumination named “Japan Illumination” to commemorate the end of Heisei Era and to celebrate the beginning of Reiwa Era. On Apr. 30 and May 1, the eve and the first day of the new era, a red circle, the motif of Japan’s national flag will appear on the Tower. Special photo booths and a stamp will also be available to mark the important day. During other days during Golden Week, a different illumination using the color gold will appear.
