Fukuoka University Joins Study on C19 Related Suicides

Fukuoka University and five other universities in Japan began research on relations between the new coronavirus spread and the recent increase in the number of suicide attempts. According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, 2,158 persons committed suicides in Japan during October, an increase of 619 compared to the same month in 2019. To deal with the situation, interviews will be conducted on those admitted to the university hospitals. Source: NHK
