Fukuoka Unyu, whose operations include the shipment of chilled and frozen food products, has begun operating its large distribution center in Tosu, Saga Prefecture. The center has six different areas for food storage with temperatures ranging from 25° C above zero to 25° C below zero. The company, known for introducing Japan’s first trucks for frozen food shipment in 1958, now has 13 distribution centers nationwide.
