Venture capital-backed companies from Fukuoka and other prefectures displayed their new products and technologies at the Fukuoka Venture Market in Fukuoka City on the 22nd and 23rd. The market has been regularly held since November 1999 by an association consisting of 230 groups, including Fukuoka Prefecture, with the objective of obtaining funding and new sales channels for the startups. More than 1,500 companies participated in the latest market.
