Fukuoka’s Akasaka Ranks as the Most Expensive Residential Area

Haseko Livenet, Inc., published a report on rent for the average apartment in five cities, including Fukuoka and Kokura. According to that, the average monthly rent for family-type apartments around the Akasaka subway station was ¥147,000, while for single-type flats, the most expensive were located near Gion Station (¥63,000.) In Kitakyushu City, The most expensive area for family-type apartments is around the JR Monorail Kokura Station, while that for single-type apartments is near JR Nishikokura Station. Source: Nikkei
