A small satellite developed by Fukuoka-based start-up QPS Institute, in collaboration with several smaller factories in the region, was successfully launched into its intended orbit from California. This satellite, “Amateru Three“, is capable of capturing high-definition images and is part of a planned fleet of 36 satellites, set to be operational by 2025, intended to assist in disaster management and infrastructure monitoring.
