Fukuoka’s TrueBizon Paves Way for Drone Routes

TrueBizon, a drone startup in Fukuoka, is rapidly developing “sky paths” to allow drones to fly shorter distances. Collaborating with companies with drone expertise, they plan a 40-fold increase to 4,000 routes by 2026, addressing the logistics industry’s “2024 problem” related to strict driver overtime rules. The recent aviation law amendments, permitting unmanned flights in populated areas, have boosted this effort. However, challenges in securing necessary routes remain, and TrueBizon is focusing on overcoming this by creating these “sky paths.” Source: Nikkei / PR Times
