Goshi Yakishouronpou Opens in Fukuoka

A Chinese resident (from Shanghai) opened a dedicated Xiaolongbao restaurant today, Apr. 1. Xiaolongbao is the local specialty of the aspiring restaurateur Mr. Wu’s hometown. The dumplings use 100% domestic pork, and the chef is certified by a dim sum exam offered only in China. Buy one for ¥120, four for ¥480, or six for ¥680 (incl. tax); take out is available for orders of over four buns. A word of advice: be careful when taking that first bite – the dumpling is filled with piping hot juices! The restaurant is on the first floor of Aeon Mall Fukuoka. Hours: 10:00~21:00.
