Hong Kong-based Greater Bay Airlines launched a new scheduled route between Fukuoka and Hong Kong on March 9, adding another carrier to the busy international corridor. According to Fukuoka Airport officials, the airline will operate one round-trip flight per day using a Boeing 737-800 with 189 economy-class seats. Initial flights from March 9 to 19 depart Hong Kong in the morning and return from Fukuoka in the afternoon, with a revised early-morning arrival schedule beginning March 20. The airline, founded in 2020, previously operated charter flights on the route from December 2025. With the launch of regular service, four airlines now operate between Fukuoka and Hong Kong, alongside Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Express, and Hong Kong Airlines. The carrier aims to expand connections across Asia through its Hong Kong hub. Source: TNC News / Yomiuri Shimbun
