Hawaiian Airlines Announces New Honolulu-Fukuoka Route

Hawaiian Airlines announced its plans to provide nonstop service between Fukuoka and Honolulu, starting in November 2019, pending approval from Japanese and U.S. governments. The company plans to operate four weekly flights between Fukuoka Airport and Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport. After the termination of the Fukuoka-Honolulu route by Delta Airlines in May, the new flights would be a nice addition to Fukuoka Airport’s lineup of international routes. Hawaiian previously operated a flight between Fukuoka and Honolulu between April 2012 through June 2014. The airline will use Airbus A330 aircraft with 278 seats on the Fukuoka-Honolulu route.
