‘Henn-na Hotel’ at Huis Ten Bosch Entered into Guinness Book of World Records

The Henn-na Hotel, located in Huis Ten Bosch, Nagasaki, opened in July 2015 and has recently entered the Guinness Book of World Records as ‘the first robot-staffed hotel’. Branches of the hotel are now planned for Chiba Pref. & Aichi Pref. as well as in locations overseas. The hotel’s front desk, cloak room and porter staff are all robots, programmed to respond in multiple languages. The hotel also uses facial recognition to unlock hotel rooms.
