The former residence of Kenjiro Matsumoto in Kitakyushu City (listed as an Important Cultural Assets and Heritage of Industrial Modernization of Japan) will welcome visitors on April 29. The 1912-built guest house, representing a combination of art nouveau and traditional shinden-zukuri style, accepts visitors only once a year. In addition to admiring gorgeous architecture and tableware, music live and matcha tea corner will also be available. To attend, apply in advance via mail – see official website.
