Hiyamizu Road to be Toll Free From May 2016
On May 15, 2016 at midnight, the toll will be removed from the 5.9 km Hiyamizu Road – also known as the Uguisu Road – linking Uchino, Izuka city to Oaza Yamae, Chikushino city. The Fukuoka Road Public Corporation hopes this will resolve issues with traffic on the highway caused by inclement weather. Source: Fukuoka Road Public Corporation, 12/21
