HKT48 Idols Drive Home Importance of Auto Tax Deadline

Members of the Japanese idol group HKT48 have urged people to pay their automobile taxes before the deadline at the end of this month. On the 8th, group members Nene Jitoue, Hana Matsuoka, and Nanaka Mogami visited the prefectural office as part of their campaign to improve automobile tax payment rates in Fukuoka Prefecture.

Even the busy Governor Hattori was all smiles during the HKT48 visit. According to Fukuoka Prefecture, automobile tax revenue amounts to approximately 600 billion yen, accounting for around 10% of the total tax revenue.
