A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating marijuana plants at his home in Miyawaka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Photos provided by the police show a large amount of “marijuana plants” filling the suspect’s home. The suspect, a 41-year-old unemployed man from Miyawaka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, was arrested for violating the Marijuana Control Law. According to the police, the suspect is suspected of cultivating 20 marijuana plants for profit at his home in Miyawaka City since around April of this year. Upon investigation, Shimamura denied some charges, saying that he cultivated and possessed the marijuana plants for his smoking, not for profit. Source: TNC
