Honda Motor Co. will transfer 276 technicians at its motorcycle R&D center in Saitama Prefecture to its only motorcycle plant in the country in Kumamoto Prefecture in October, it was learned. It addition to production, the plant site will now be responsible for everything from design to parts procurement. The objective is to promote development speed and retain motorcycle production in Japan.
