Honda Motors said it will finish this month its shift of motorcycle production to its Kumamoto plant from its Hamamatsu plant, which it has been doing in stages since FY 2008. The Kumamoto plant will thus become the company’s sole factory for producing motorcycles for export to North America and Europe. It will also be used as the model plant for conveying the company’s technology to other plants around the world.
