Local hotels have announced temporary closure in response to the Government’s declaration of a state of emergency. JR Kyushu closes some of its group hotels in Tokyo and Fukuoka, including The Blossom Hakata Premiere, JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Fukuoka, and JR Kyushu Hotel Kokura (4/11 ~ 5/6.) JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Hakata Chuo and JR Kyushu Station Hotel Kokura will continue their operations. Fukuoka Jisho also announced closures at Grand Hyatt Fukuoka, The Basics Fukuoka and four more hotels in Fukuoka and Osaka (4/8 ~ 5/6.) Nishitetsu plans no hotel closures so far.
