How Much Ramen Do Fukuokans Eat?

If you live in Fukuoka and eat tonkotsu ramen any less than 41 times a year, you’re not trying hard enough! Gcom surveyed Fukuoka locals online about how often they eat local specialty foods over the course of one year. The candidates? Tonkotsu ramen, mizutaki and motsunabe, of course! 370 residents of central Fukuoka took the poll, and results reveal that locals eat tonkotsu ramen an average of 41.3 times a year, mizutaki an average of 14.5 times a year, and motsunabe an average of 9.3 times a year. The survey also found that these meals are mostly eaten at home. How do you measure up? Source from Nishinippon 1/15
