A life-size Gundam will be erected in Fukuoka City in the spring of 2022! The massive statue of v Gundam (aka. Nu Gundam) will be positioned in front of Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Fukuoka. It will be the first full-scale Gundam object in Kyushu. It will become the third life-size Gundam character in Japan. (The only overseas is in Shanghai, China!) v Gundam is a long-loved mobile character that appeared in the 1988-released film “Char’s Counterattack.” The new 20-meter statue in Hakata will be called ‘RX-93ff ν Gundam’ and features multiple updates from the original ‘RX-93 ν Gundam.’ Lalaport Fukuoka also plans to open a Gundam Park, where guests can experience the exciting world of Gundam.
