Yamato Holdings, a leading delivery company, has increased the number of cargo flights operating between Kitakyushu and Haneda. Starting from August 1st, the company introduced additional flights during the early morning hours. This expansion includes the launch of a new service between Kitakyushu Airport and Haneda Airport, taking advantage of Kitakyushu’s 24-hour operation capability. The new flights depart Kitakyushu before 2 AM, allowing cargo collected in Kyushu to be swiftly transported and redistributed domestically and internationally from Haneda Airport. The inbound flights from Haneda arrive at Kitakyushu before 7 AM. This expansion aims to alleviate the burden on truck transportation, particularly during the night when cargo demand is highest.
