The first winner of the Intercollege Kyushu-Tourism Business Plan Contest was announced. The team from Seinan Gakuin University proposed an app-based approach to achieving authentic communication between visitors and the locals. Allowing tourists to ask for recommended spots or visit attractions with local app users might generate more revisitors. Forty-eight groups joined the competition in the first edition, and a ¥300,000 prize was given to the winner. Source: Kyushu-Tourism Business Plan Contest / Kyushu Tourism Organization / Nikkei
