Itoshima City and Fukuoka Prefecture will open Ito-no Courses (Itoshima agriculture courses) beginning in August. The city and the prefecture have set up an agriculture promotional committee in Itoshima to promote local products and educate future producers. At eight sessions between August to December, students of Itoshima Agricultural High School will give instructions on different themes including growing and processing fruits and vegetables.
