The Izumi Co. of Hiroshima, the operator of the large Youme Town shopping centers, announced it will begin opening smaller facilities called Youme Mart, primarily in Kyushu. They opened their first at the end of June in Kitakyushu. They plan to open 20 more over the next three years, primarily in Fukuoka and Kumamoto prefectures.
