JR Freight is reportedly planning to redevelop approximately 3,000 tsubo in the Tenjin Kita area of Fukuoka City. The plan is also intended to be linked to the renewal of the Fukuoka City Fresh Fish Market. According to the officials, the redevelopment project is planned for a 3,000 tsubo area on the former site of a JR Freight station, where the tavern “Zauo” and a hot spring facility “Tenjin Yunohana” are located. These facilities are scheduled to cease operation. The company is also considering linking the project with the renewal of the fresh fish market. Source: KBC
