JR Kyushu and AirAsia announced plans to collaborate in promoting tourism in Kyushu and Southeast Asia. The project began with the opening of the Fukuoka-Kuala Lumpur route and the Fukuoka-Bangkok route by the AirAsia group of companies. As its first activity, two of AirAsia’s cabin crew members attended Yufuin No Mori, a sightseeing train by JR Kyushu, and distributed exclusive giveaways to its passengers on July 23.
