JR Kyushu and All Nippon Airways (ANA) will collaborate in promoting tourism in Kyushu for international tourists. According to their announcement on June 26, a special train pass to travel around the northern Kyushu will be on sale for international passengers on ANA’s flights between Tokyo-Fukuoka, Tokyo-Kumamoto, and Tokyo-Oita during the games of Rugby World Cup in Japan. A ¥7,500 three-day pass and a ¥9,000 five-day pass (tax included) will be offered. The two companies aim to provide more seamless air-rail service to Kyushu. A similar effort will be made during the games of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics. Source: JR Kyushu, 6/26/2019
