JR Kyushu confirmed that on June 10, a conductor mistakenly announced Ōnojō Station as the train was stopping at Kasuga Station, causing three passengers who intended to disembark at Ōnojō to exit early, according to RKB via TBS News Dig. The train was traveling from Fukuma to Tosu on the Kagoshima Line around 6:30 p.m. The company attributed the incident to the conductor failing to check the timetable and assuming the train had reached the next station.
