JR Kyushu is considering selling three of their Beetle cruise ships, as the prolonged impact of the new coronavirus spread forces the company to downsize its marine-tourism business. These vessels served the international route between Hakata and Busan until March this year. However, costs for keeping those three ships and the newly introduced Queen Beetle continue to rise without a firm prospect of reopening the route. The company also plans to reduce the number of employees in its marine division. Source: Asahi / Mainichi
