From Dec. 1 until late March, JR Kyushu is selling Oita produced ‘Kanta-kun’ yaki-imo (roasted sweet potatoes) at Hakata Station Tsubame-Cafe and even on board on the Yufuin-no-mori line! One yaki-imo will set you back ¥250, or ¥330 for two. kanta-kun sweet potatoes are renowned for a distinct sweetness and softness, so be sure to give it a go!
