JR Kyushu accelerates their Tenjin-based business. While JR Hakata Station and its surrounding area were once recognized as the area of focus of Kyushu Railway Company’s business, in November, the company became the operator of the Vioro shopping mall in Tenjin. JR Kyushu’s train network doesn’t directly connect to Tenjin. Nonetheless, it is preparing to join the We Love Tenjin, the town development council led by Nishitetsu and some 130 local organizations.
