JR Kyushu to Eliminate Smoking Rooms and Areas

JR Kyushu announced on February 27 that it would close all smoking rooms and areas inside its regular train stations from April 1. Reflecting on the revised Health Promotion Law, the company decided to step up its efforts to create a more smoke-free environment. The use of e-cigarettes will also be restricted.
